Experiencia fantástica: Bonjour, Après avoir passé 3mois à Bogota et dans cette école je peux affirmer que j'ai passé un moment incroyable que j'oublierais jamais. Et les profs sont pour beaucoup ! Chacun à ça manière d'enseigner ce qui diversifie les semaines passé la bas. L'école propose aussi des activitées culturelle les après-midis pour ceux qui veulent. Très bonne expérience pour ma part. ------- Después de haber pasado 3 meses en Bogotá y en esta escuela, puedo afirmar que viví un momento increíble que nunca olvidaré. Y los profesores cuentan muchísimo: cada uno tiene su propia manera de enseñar, lo que hace que las semanas allí sean muy variadas. Experiencia fantástica: Hola a todos!! Como estas? :) I studied in Nueva Lengua for 13 weeks and for ths duration, i have learned so much more than i had imagined or expected. I gained more than just another language skill but great friends, in depth understanding of the cultures, slangs, mannerisms. I can say i am now half Colombian. ;p This is more than just a spanish school. They integrate all students with warmth to immerse them well with the Colombian culture. The school offers multiple activities to ensure you never run out of things to do! They have a branch in Cartagena and Medellin which allowed me to explore other cities whilst continuing my studies. I truly TRULY enjoyed my time with the school and will miss it dearly° I will definitely return in the future! To all future students! ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY!

Experiencia fantástica: I had the best time at Nueva Lengua in Bogotá! Everyone is so welcoming, friendly and helpful. I was placed in C2 class and found the lessons interesting, immersive and the right amount of challenging. All the teachers are very positive and skilled at making classes enjoyable and fun. The activities organised after class are a great way to see and learn about the city, and to make friends with other students from around the world. I highly recommend this school for learning/improving your Spanish, as well as experiencing some beautiful Colombian culture and making loads of lovely friends!

Experiencia fantástica: ¡Tuve una experiencia fantástica en Nueva Lengua! Estuve cuatro semanas y me gustó mucho la escuela. Desde mi llegada, con la entrevista con Mateo, hasta las clases con Laura, Mateo, Germán, Paula y María, tuve clases estupendas, junto con compañeros de clase muy simpáticos. La estructura de la escuela es buena, agradable, aunque algunas aulas son un poco pequeñas. Debido a los feriados colombianos, durante dos semanas tuvimos una hora extra, de 8:00 a. m. a 1:00 p. m., lo que me causó algunos inconvenientes en mi trabajo. No esperaba los feriados, pero la escuela cumplió con la carga horaria. Solo me faltó que la escuela tuviera una pequeña biblioteca con recomendaciones, que nos permitiera tomar prestados libros del nivel en el que estamos, para mejorar la lectura, y una lista con materiales audiovisuales, en el sitio web o en la red social, para que podamos mejorar las habilidades de lectura y escritura.

Experiencia fantástica: I learned so much at Nueva Lengua! The school has a good structure for teaching each level which progresses smoothly. The teachers were knowledgeable, engaging, and great instructors -- I was taught by Julio, Matteo, and Laura. Also, the school organized activities which was fun to engage with other students and Bogota. I definitely recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Já fazia dois anos que eu estudava espanhol em casa na Colômbia, e ainda tinha uma dificuldade muito grande em me comunicar em espanhol por não ter um ambiente seguro pra praticar o idioma. Pra mim as semanas que passei estudando em Nueva Lingua foram essenciais pra me ajudar a destravar e avançar no espanhol. Já consigo me comunicar com mais leveza, aprendi e reaprendi muitas coisas com essa experiência, por exemplo, pude aprender mais sobre a cultura e hábitos do pais em que moro, que é a Colômbia, o que me ajudou a compreender melhor os colombianos a minha volta, além de ter relembrado muitas coisas de gramática que tinham passado batido quando estudava em casa, coisas essas que eram extremamente importantes para que eu me comunicasse melhor no idioma. Para mim são com certeza 5 estrelas, você não vai se arrepender se investir nessa experiência.

Experiencia fantástica: Ich kann die Sprachschule Bogotá Nueva Lengua von ganzem Herzen empfehlen. Die Lehrer sind äußerst kompetent, hilfsbereit und zeichnen sich durch ihre außergewöhnliche Freundlichkeit sowie Menschlichkeit aus. Ich habe dort enorm viel gelernt – der Unterricht war stets inspirierend und praxisnah. Besonders beeindruckt haben mich die abwechslungsreichen Nachmittagsaktivitäten, mit denen man die Stadt auf eine authentische und faszinierende Weise kennenlernen konnte. Dabei haben wir nicht nur viel gelacht, sondern auch wertvolle Eindrücke und Kenntnisse gesammelt. Die gelungene Abstimmung zwischen Unterricht und Freizeitaktivitäten sowie die hilfreichen Empfehlungen zu den zahlreichen Unternehmungsmöglichkeiten in der Stadt haben meinen Aufenthalt zu einem rundum gelungenen Erlebnis gemacht. Zudem durfte ich Professoren kennenlernen, die sich im Laufe der Zeit zu guten Freunden entwickelten. An dieser Stelle möchte ich besonders den Koordinator Julio hervorheben, der uns jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand und das Lernen auf unterhaltsame sowie lehrreiche Weise vermittelt hat. Mein herzlicher Dank gilt auch dem gesamten Team von Nueva Lengua.

Experiencia fantástica: Een fantastische tijd gehad bij Nueva Lengua in Bogota! De lessen bestaan uit grammatica, vocabulaire en communicatie. De docenten zijn heel geduldig en behulpzaam. Naast de lessen, organiseert de school ook allerlei activiteiten. Wat mij betreft is de combinatie van de lessen en activiteiten de beste en leukste manier om de taal te leren. Ik zal het iedereen aanraden om bij Nueva Lengua de taal (snel) onder de knie te krijgen. Ik heb er de rest van mijn reis in Zuid-Amerika plezier van!

Experiencia fantástica: We took online lessons with Milena in advance of visiting Colombia. We learned so much. Our lessons were well structured, fun and intensive. We hope to take face to face lessons in Bogota with them in the near future. We cant recommend both Milena and the whole team at Nueva Lengua highly enough.

Experiencia fantástica: I spent 3 weeks at Nueva Lengua in Bogota and Cartagena (Columbia) in December 2024/January 2025 and I was very happy with both with the teaching and the afternoon activities. The classes are small and the teachers were great and also more than happy to answer any questions. Location and facilities are excellent. I am happy to recommend the school and will definitely return in the future to learn more spanish.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent staff (my teachers were Laura, Daniel, and German) and a wide variety of activities. I enjoyed making new friends from around the world during my 4 weeks at Nueva Lengua. My homestay was very good also.

Experiencia positiva: I was at Nueva Lengua for 5 weeks and had the pleasure of being taught by the wonderful Daniela all that time. She's amazing - very mature and level-headed for someone so young. She made learning Spanish fun, and she always had a smile on her face. The school itself is well organised and run with different classes for different abilities. As well as the 4 hours of Spanish every day, there were afternoon activities (optional and often free) I took part in the cooking class one week, and the dancing classes a few times. All were immensely enjoyable. There were lots of other great students to make friends with and share our experiences with. Highly recommended!

Experiencia fantástica: Did Spanish lessons here and they were really great. Did 4 hours per day as Monday was off for public holidays. Paola was patient, engaging and happy to explore any avenue our questions brought us down, going beyond the prepared lessons. It felt like her open teaching style really helped us pick up the vocabulary for organic (Colombian) spanish conversations. Time passed really quickly, I was surprised whenever it was time for a break. Daniel took over for the last hour for conversation class. Daniel has a very broad knowledge of pop culture across a lot of countries so he was able to really drag some good conversation out of our very basic Spanish. We had a lot of laughs as his casual conversation style kept us chatting and switching between Spanish and English. We now have enough Spanish to muddle through most basic conversations and can make a shot at pronouncing most words so we'll continue learning on our own Dance lessons were pretty funny too as, luckily, everyone was pretty bad. There was a welcome lunch on the first day which was very tasty and an introductory talk from senior staff which was all in Spanish and a little difficult to follow if you had little to no Spanish like ourselves. That could probably be trimmed a down or the really important points repeated in English. Handy to get to from La Candelaria, just walk down to the university stop for the number 6 TransMilenoio, though G Maps doesn't show it.

Experiencia fantástica: I spent 6 weeks in Nueva Lengua across Medellín and Bogotá. My experience was excellent, 11/10! The teachers are amazing, I advanced my spanish skills significantly, made a bunch of new friends and met interesting people. Highly recommended!!

Experiencia fantástica: I came to Bogota to follow an intensive Spanish course, along with a medical Spanish course. I have been to many languages school in my life and must say the best experience I’ve had was with NUEVA LENGUA. They were very professional, courses offer a lot of diversity; language learning, grammar, conversation, all executed by very competent instructors. They also offer a lot of cultural activities. I highly recommend it and maybe in a near future would come back and learn some more. A++++++

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend this language school. The teachers are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The friendly school is efficiently run in a converted older home in a safe part of town with a common room, a fully equipped kitchen, clean bathrooms and many sunny classrooms. It’s made fun by having an array of different instructors. There is also the daily opportunity to participate in afternoon cultural activities and field trips with instructors present, giving students practice in conversational Spanish (while doing things like visiting galleries, museums, viewpoints//cablecars etc and having dance and cooking lessons at the school , playing the national sport of tejo, etc. ) The class sizes are small with a maximum of eight people. I’ve enjoyed learning in this well structured but casual environment, as well as meeting the other students who come from a wide variety of backgrounds and ages. I can’t recommend this school highly enough!

Experiencia fantástica: Though I’ve never and probably won’t ever take lessons anywhere else, I think Nueva Lengua is the best school in Colombia to take Spanish lessons from. The professors and staff are very friendly and help you learn in the best way possible according to your learning styles. The professors ironed out my self-taught Spanish and helped me improve immensely, no kidding. The lessons are solid and the extracurricular activities are enjoyable and worthwhile. Experiencia fantástica: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had the pleasure of taking 12 classes at Nueva Lengua. I was visiting my partner and wanted to improve my rusty, self-taught Spanish. Nueva Lengua offered daily, private 1-2-1 classes with professors who helped me learn the foundations of Spanish grammar (including all tenses, the imperative, the subjunctive, and prepositions) and expand my vocabulary. At the end of each class, the teacher asked me what I wanted to study in the next class and they arranged learning materials accordingly. When I went to Medellin they organised classes at the school there. After 12 classes, I reached C1 level which would not have been possible so quickly without the generous support of the teachers. It goes without saying that I highly recommend Nueva Lengua! Thank you to Daniela and all the teachers in Bogotá, and to Julio and Eduardo in Medellin.

Experiencia fantástica: Ik volgde 2 weken les om mijn latente kennis Spaans terug wat te activeren. En dat heeft zeer goed gewerkt! Je begint de dag met 3u grammatica en veel oefeningen (mondeling en schriftelijk). Daarna volgt nog een uur conversatie met een andere leerkracht. Prima combinatie :). Fijne leerkrachten ook, die goed inspelen op de vragen, het niveau en de interesses van de groep, en je ook verderhelpen als je praktische vragen hebt over hoe, wie, wat, waar, wanneer in Bogota of Colombia. De school ligt in een fijne buurt met gezellige restaurants. En elke namiddag kan je deelnemen aan een activiteit. Da's op zich weer handig om ook mensen uit de andere niveaugroepen te leren kennen. Een aanrader!

Experiencia fantástica: If I could give Nueva Lengua Bogotá 10 stars I would. If you are looking to learn Spanish in a fun, supportive environment then come here. I studied here for 3 weeks in total and I didn’t know if I would like group classes but they were so beneficial; getting to see and hear others speak and also make mistakes so I felt comfortable to do so. I loved the structure of a mix of activities, lectures, listening, games and plenty of speaking/conversation practice. The teachers I had were amazing (I had Luis Miguel as my main teacher for 3 weeks and then for conversation classes I had Nicoll for two weeks and Valeria for one week). The whole vibe of NL is fantastic and they have super activities every week too. Very highly recommended. I would go back in a heartbeat!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Ich war eine Woche hier (Bogota) und wünschte ich hätte noch mehr Zeit. Die Lehrer und Lehrerinnen waren alle super freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben alle Fragen beantwortet. Der Unterricht ist super aufgebaut (Inhalt, Grammatik, sprechen). Außerdem gibt es nachmittags Aktivitäten die man mitmachen kann. So lernt man auch die Menschen kennen die nicht im eigenen Kurs sind. Es sind nicht viele Schüler in den Klassen, daher hat man viel eigene Praxis. Ich kann Nueva Lengua definitiv empfehlen und sollte ich wieder genug Zeit haben komme ich wieder. Vielleicht mache ich noch eine Woche in Medellín, aber das entscheide ich spontan wie viel Zeit mir noch bleibt.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a really brilliant time at Nueva Lengua I would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn Spanish immersively. The teachers are very knowledgable, but also just genuinely kind and friendly which really helps you to feel welcome and at ease in Bogotá. The dance lessons and cultural activities were fantastic and Isaac brings such a positive energy that makes you feel really comfortable and helps you learn about the culture. I am so glad I chose Nueva Lengua for my time in Colombia and maybe I will be back.

Experiencia fantástica: I am studying spanish and in the past I have mostly done self study and talking/listening with other people. I would say my spanish was a strong B1 before I went to the school. I signed up for 4 weeks of classes and was placed in the B1 class. I felt like it was a good fit and I was learning every day. After 2 weeks I started the B2 class. Also, great. I did have some problems with some things, but again I was learning a ton and improving everyday. I love the school! All the instructors are super friendly and knowledgeable. I have made friends with several of them. The school also has after class activities that you can choose to participate in. Some examples are: tours to Monserrate, touring the central historic area of Bogota, the Gold Museum, the National Museum, and many more. I also did a weekend trip to Ibague, which was really cool. In addition there are classes for cooking and dancing. I enjoyed the once-a-week dancing class so much that I signed up to do it everyday. Isaac is a fantastic dance instructor and I learned a bit of Colombian Salsa, Meringue, and Bachata. Another great thing is just being around so many people from different parts of the world. There are students from so many places. While I was there, all the continents were represented, except for Antarctica. It was amazing being able to communicate with everyone in either Spanish or English and I made friends with other students as well. I loved the school so much that I extended my trip and signed up for a fifth week of the school. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this school if you want to improve your Spanish, have fun, meet people, and get to know more about Colombia and Bogota.

Experiencia positiva: My husband and I had a week private Spanish lessons from Nicoll. Every day 3 hours and we learned a lot. In the afternoon there were cultural activities, like danceclass, cookingclass, tasting coffee and we liked it very much. You are in contact of other students all over the world. Last year we already had a two weeks course and now we have our A2 level certificate.

Experiencia fantástica: Nueva Lengua is a great school in the heart of the Chapinaro district of Bogota. I had some Spanish knowledge, but could not speak well. I had 5 weeks of classes in Bogota and it was fantastic! I can't say enough good things about the instructors and the staff. No matter what your level the professors treat you with respect, courtesy and most importantly to me patience. They strive to insure that you have a great understanding of the Spanish Language. Not only do you learn to speak, you practice grammar, reading and listening. All are very important to learning a new language. They also have many cultural opportunities to help you learn more about the heritage of Colombia. I highly recommend Nueva Lengua.

Experiencia fantástica: Melhor escola de espanhol de Bogotá!! Além de ter aulas de 3 horas por dia, também temos diversas atividades (pagas e gratuitas) além dos horários de aula. Toda semana 1x temos aula de dança gratuita com o professor Isaac, muito muito engraçado e gente boa! Depois temos aula de culinária com diferentes professores. Fazemos comidas típicas da colombia. Todos os funcionários são super solicitos! Um abraço especial para Luis miguel, Daniel e Natalia que foram meus professores!! Os preços são um pouco altos mas vale a pena. Paguei 540 dólares por 3 semanas.

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastyczne miejsce, cudowni ludzie i tylko żal, że nie mogłam zostać dłużej! Zapisałam się na 1 tydzień intensywnej nauki hiszpańskiego. Trafilam do świetnej, 4-osobowej grupy❤️ Dodatkowo szkoła bardzo sprawnie organizuje wspólne wyjścia do muzeów i wielu innych ciekawych miejsc, których w Bogocie zdecydowanie nie brakuje! Wyjście na mecz piłki nożnej, lekcje tańca, wycieczka do Guatavity i oczywiście piątkowy wypad na miasto cudowne wspomnienia Bardzo dziękuję nauczycielom Davidowi, Natalii i Danieli za profesjonalne przygotowanie i przyjazną atmosferę na zajęciach, i oczywiście last but not least, Isaacowi za cudowne lekcje tańca (forever in my heart). Experiencia fantástica: I took private lessons with Daniela for a month in Bogotá. She took the time to understand where I needed to improve and planned lessons to focus on those areas. Every class was well structured and balanced the introduction of new concepts with strengthening the foundational elements that I had learned previously. Based on my experience in the first month, I changed my travel schedule to return to Bogotá for another month in March. Highly recommended!

Experiencia fantástica: Das beste war die Atmosphäre und Nettigkeit der Lehrerkräfte. Hab mich jeden Tag gefreut da zu sein. Über Weihnachten war weniger los als sonst (gut, da dann die Gruppen kleiner sind) und trotzdem gab es Programm (Tanzen, Kochen, „Novena“, etc.). Auf Nachfrage bekam ich immer extra Material zum lernen ausgedruckt und konnte so in nur zwei Wochen sehr viel Spanisch lernen. Die Lehrinhalte waren sehr auf Kolumbien bezogen und so konnte ich in dieser Zeit soviel über Kolumbiens Kultur lernen wie noch nie. Ich empfehle definitiv so lange wie möglich da zu bleiben, es lohnt sich. Ich denke mal, wenn man so ein Paar Monate am Stück bleibt, kann man danach fließend kolumbianisches Spanisch.

Experiencia fantástica: Eine sehr gute Schule um Spanisch zu lernen. Ich habe einen vier Wochen Kurs gebucht, die Schule ist sehr flexibel und geht sehr gut auf die Schüler ein. Es werden auch tolle Aktivitäten geboten am Nachmittag. Eine absolute Empfehlung von mir.

Experiencia fantástica: Zwei Wochen lang hatte ich an der Schule Nueva Lengua in Bogotá Spanisch- und Tanzunterricht. Sowohl die Lehrer als auch die Mitarbeiter waren sehr kompetent und super nett. Außerdem gab es täglich Aktivitäten und Ausflüge. Es wurde nie langweilig. Ich kann die Schule nur wärmstens empfehlen. Riesen Dank an meine Lehrer Milena, Natalia, Valeria, Alejandra und den besten Tanzlehrer überhaupt Isaac!

Experiencia fantástica: I had 4 amazing weeks learning spanish at Nueva Lengua. I learned a lot and the teachers were amazing ! The lessons have a lot of variety and the extra activities were really fun. I stayed with a host family provided by the school, which was so lovely. I felt super welcome and enjoyed spending time together a lot. This is also how my spanish improved a lot. In addition to my classes i took extra salsa classes which were amazing. I was a complete beginner and learning to dance has been so much fun. I am super grateful for this month i spent with so many lovely people. Muchas gracias !!

Experiencia fantástica: After moving to Bogotá with my family I decided to attend Nueva Lengua for 8 weeks. It was not the least expensive school or closest to my apartment, but after reading reviews I felt it would be the best fit for what I wanted. I'm so glad I chose it! It was just what I needed and to be honest I wish I could have attended longer. The curriculum was well paced and varied enough that it never became boring. And while I definitely had my favorite teachers, all did a good job, and it was nice that they rotated through because hearing explanations from different teachers was very helpful. I really enjoyed meeting students from around the world too. I didn't participate in many activities due to my own time constraints, but the ones I did join in were fun. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I just finished 3 weeks of classes at Nueva Lengua bogota. and I am going to their branch in medellin next for one month. Highly recommend it. I studied with Nicoll, Natalia, Valeria and Alexandra during my time here in Bogota. And all four of them were amazing teachers with unique strengths to understand students and give the individual attention required.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve just finished 1 week of Spanish lessons with this school and I was very impressed. 5 days of lessons 9-13:00 and then activities each afternoon which are usually free. The class size is between 1 and 5 students with 1 fantastic teacher. I personally stayed with a lovely host family which was a 20 minute walk to the school, the walk was safe and the family very accommodating. The family didn’t speak much English which encouraged me to practice my Spanish. There is also a really nice Hostel about 15 minutes walk from the school called Selina which my friend stayed in and it’s the best value for money hostel I’ve seen in all my travels globally. A free welcome lunch, some snacks and Colombian coffee was included and some really fun activities in the afternoons which change each week. I will be recommending the school to my friends and hopefully I will be able to go back in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: I took about two months of private Spanish & literature classes with Nueva Lengua (June & November, 2023), and was happy to find a community over there. The coordinator Iván, Juan, and my instructors Alejandra, Milena, Luis, Nicoll, Daniela are all very welcoming and tended to my learning needs. There are various culture-related classes, such as cooking and field trips that I didn't have enough time to attend, but they seem super fun! I was especially happy with the fact that the private classes are considerably affordable. As a level B2-C1 student, I don't get many group classes in general, and it was great to be able to do some more practice and find my own structure in the language learning. I'm especially marveled by the grammar structure and panorama of learning info by Alejandra, which was so organized, and Nicoll, who has the knack to make all the beautiful, organized slides, and Milena for her infinite patience and extra materials sent to me that she thought would be helpful for me. I only had one class with Daniela: she's quick-witted and immediately gets what I want or need in learning. She's very organized and communicative in organizing my classes. Luis also offered a lot of conversational practices, and all in all, I do see myself picking back up my Spanish on a deeper level, and I would totally come back for more lessons whenever I can. Thing is, private classes are mostly arranged in the afternoon, and group classes stay in the mornings. Just want to thank the community for giving me a space in Bogotá, I had a good time! Oh, btw, the NADA Bogotá bookstore is just a street across Nueva Lengua, they have incredible book selections and artsy merch, I love going there whenever I'm in the area. The area is also close to so many cafes and nice restaurants!

The teachers are all super knowledgeable, kind and eager to help students of all levels learn. I reached my language learning goals and am so thankful to the professors at Nueva Lengua for that. Experiencia fantástica: Ik heb op de eerste dag al meer geleerd, dan 3 maanden duolingo. Maar zonder dolle de school is kleinschalig, waardoor je met iedereen wel een praatje maakt. De docenten zijn erg aardig en geduldig. Ook als je ergens tegenaan loopt buiten school staan ze gelijk bereidt te helpen De uitstapjes na de lesuren zijn echt fantastisch. Wij konden via de school regelen dat we naar de halve finale van Millionares gingen, daarvoor moesten we wel wat bij betalen, maar dat was het helemaal waard. De school ligt op een mooie locatie met veel kleine restaurantjes in de buurt. Zeker een aanrader dus!

At first, I didn't know what to expect, but it turned out to be one of the best decisions I have made. I had an amazing experience here, and this is an understatement. The school is really nice. It has a great learning environment, students are friendly, and most importantly the teachers are friendly and great. Also, if you get a chance, you should join the dance classes. Isaac, the dance teacher, is very passionate about what he does, and he is the best. I went from knowing absolutely nothing to being able to not embarrass myself when I go out for dances. He also hosts really fun activities through out the week. I could not ask for a better dance teacher!

Ich habe den A1 Spanisch-Sprachkurs bei Daniela für eine Woche besucht, nachdem ich einen kurzen persönlichen Einstufungstest hatte. Daniela versteht es, auf eine sehr sympathische Art und Weise ruhig und geduldig zu sein, gleichzeitig weiß sie, spielerisch die Gruppe im Klassenraum zu motivieren. Außerdem spricht sie hervorragend Englisch, was gerade bei einem A1 Kurs manchmal sehr hilfreich sein kann. Ich hatte das Gefühl bei Nueva Lengua gut aufgehoben zu sein. Generell herrscht dort ein sehr internationaler und freundlicher Flair. Wenn man nach dem Kurs noch Zeit hat, sollte man an den Nachmittagsaktivitäten teilnehmen, um die Kultur und die anderen Kursgruppen besser kennenzulernen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Experiencia fantástica: Ich habe vier Wochen Spanisch- und Salsa-Unterricht genommen. Es war in jeder Hinsicht eine gute Entscheidung. Die LehrerInnen sind sehr gut strukturiert mit ihrem Unterricht und dabei gehen sie auf die Fragen der SchülerInnen gut ein. Der Unterricht ist lebendig und der Stoff praxisnah. Die Lehrer wechseln, so dass man auch mehrere Perspektiven kennenlernt. So konnte ich einen guten Grundstock im Anfänger- und A1-Kurs lernen, der mir auf meiner Reise in Südamerika hilft. Der Salsa-Kurs war lustig, geduldig und angenehm zugewandt.Der Lehrer Isaac ist ein wunderbarer (Vor-) Tänzer. Seine Frau Juliana ist eine liebe- und rücksichtsvolle Unterstützung für die Schüler. Die Freizeit- und Wochenenaktivitäten sind sehr interessant und gemeinschaftsfördernd (leider wird manchmal zu viel English gesprochen = mein einziger Kritikpunkt). So lernt man Stadt und Umgebung gut kennen. Das Klima an der Schule Nueva Lengua ist sehr entspannt, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Eine Schule, an die man gerne geht. Ich kann sie gut empfehlen und würde wiederkommen.

Experiencia fantástica: I spent four weeks at Nueva Lengua this past summer, and I had an experience that was nothing short of amazing. I had never studied Spanish prior to attending Nueva Lengua, but after only one month of classes, I went from a complete beginner level to a high intermediate level! Now whenever I speak Spanish with native speakers here in the US, they are always shocked when they learn that I have only studied Spanish for one month in my whole life. Nueva Lengua’s language learning model produces tangible results very quickly. Beyond learning so much, I also had fun attending my classes. This is due to the amazing professors. They brought positive energy to class and they cultivated an excellent learning environment: classes were small, everyone got to talk, and we were fully immersed because the teachers only spoke to us in Spanish. I had the pleasure of being taught by Paula, Carolina, Myra, and Gabby during my four weeks- they were all very kind, and they made learning enjoyable. Beyond studying Spanish, I had a beautifully remarkable experience in Cartagena. I made wonderful new friends from all over the world, and I was able to travel to many different places in Colombia. This is an experience I would recommend to anyone!

Experiencia fantástica: My wife and I attended Nueva Lengua Bogotá for two weeks and very much enjoyed everything that the school offers from the morning classes to the extra activities each afternoon and weekend. Since I had already learned Spanish for a while, I was placed in an advanced class after my initial interview. My class had 5 to 6 students, all at a similar level with different skills in grammar and speaking. Every day we had 3 hours of language lessons focusing on Spanish grammar, followed by an hour of polishing our Spanish conversation skills. Even during our grammar lessons we learned the concepts in the context of real life examples such as songs with relevant lyrics or conversations among ourselves. Between the classes and the after school activities, I found my time here to be a truly immersive Spanish language learning experience. Everyone in the school was very helpful to us and all of the teachers were excellent. Milena and Natalia were great at explaining nuances of Spanish grammar, each with her own unique and effective approach. Luis Miguel and Daniela were experts in guiding our communication classes, making sure that the conversation flowed and every student had a chance to speak. During our first week we attended many of the after school activities -- trip to Bogotá Botanical garden, dance and cooking lessons, and a long weekend trip to Guaduas. We loved the activities, especially the Guaduas trip, which was truly an adventure. We took public bus for the trip and stayed at a guest house overlooking the Salto de Versalles waterfall. We explored Guaduas, the Piedra Capira, and a coffee farm where we learned all about making coffee from the plants to picking berries, and roasting and grinding the beans. We ate a lot of Ajiaco and crispy whole fried fish (mojarra). Natalia and Sandra acted as our guides for the Guaduas trip and made it an unforgettable experience. If you happen to be at the school when they have a long weekend trip scheduled, you should definitely take advantage of it. At the end of my two weeks here I did improve my listening and speaking skills and also improved my grammar, not to mention I learned a lot about Colombia, its people and culture.

All the teachers were very nice, patient and helpful. The school also provided very enjoyable after school activities every afternoon and even in the weekends. I especially loved the dance class and the opportunity to go to places like the Bogota botanical garden and the weekend trip to Guaduas. Experiencia fantástica: My experience at Nueva Lengua was incredible! Immediately, I felt so welcomed by both the staff and my fellow students. I studied there for two weeks. My teachers were ALL patient, supportive, and kept the pace of the class exciting and challenging! Nicoll and Daniela were my AMAZING grammar instructors. Through both of them I progressed and improved not only my vocabulary but also a greater understanding of verb conjugations and their uses. David and Marlena were my conversation instructors with such different approaches. I loved how David really pushed me to think out of the box and quickly. I thoroughly enjoyed Marlena’s thoughtful introduction to the Colombian culture, history and current events - raising these topics for discussion. My medical vocabulary instructor, Felipe, was a gift; after long days of classes, he kept the energy going with fun games that allowed me to practice what we covered. He designed the curriculum around what was truly important to my reason for learning. There is not enough space here to truly express what I gained and enjoyed as a student at this school- but I do know that I want to go back as many times as I can, perhaps until I become fluent enough to move with my family to Colombia.

Experiencia fantástica: Bardzo polecam naukę języka hiszpańskiego w szkole Nueava Lengua. Szkoła ma trzy lokalizacje.Ja uczyłam się w Bogocie. Zapisałam się na kurs nauki języka hiszpańskiego, połączony z nauką tańca. Zamierzałam uczęszczać do szkoły jeden tydzień, ale widząc jak wspaniale szkoła funkcjonuje, zapisałam się na kolejny tydzień. Duża w tym zasługa nauczycieli, których miałam. Luis Miguel i Daniela to wspaniali nauczyciele! Szkoła działa w ten sposób, że przez trzy godziny prowadzone są zajęcia w formie wykładu, przeplatane ćwiczeniami, a na koniec prowadzona jest godzinna lekcja, podczas której nacisk położony jest na praktyczne użycie języka. Luis Miguel prowadził wykłady, Daniela prowadziła zajęcia praktyczne. W moim przypadku naukę hiszpańskiego zaczynałam od samego początku i zarówno Luis Miguel jak i Daniela byli bardzo dobrze do tego przygotowani, by jak najbardziej pomóc mi w mojej nauce. Oboje bardzo chętnie odpowiadali na liczne pytania, zarówno z mojej strony, jak i innych uczniów. Nauka razem z nimi była przyjemnością i pobyt w szkole zachęcił mnie do kontynuowania nauki języka hiszpańskiego. I na koniec muszę wspomnieć jeszcze jednego nauczyciela - Isaac, mój nauczyciel tańca. To dopiero była przyjemność! Bardzo gorąco polecam naukę w szkole Nueva Lengua!

Experiencia fantástica: Nueva Lengua is an exceptional Spanish school with talented and kind professors. The classes are structured and thoughtfully prepared, but there is also time to help individual students with questions or topics they want to explore. There is a great variety of activities to practice speaking, listening, and writing, and the topics chosen for class were contemporary and interesting. We did fun, creative activities like solving a mystery in Spanish, having debates about fascinating topics, and doing a Spanish personality quiz. All of the professors are genuinely interested in their students' progress, and go above and beyond to make classes not only academically challenging but also enjoyable and engaging. I was especially impressed with how welcoming and open the school is, everyone is incredibly friendly. The activities are amazing, everything from visiting a gorgeous mountain hotsprings to learning to cook traditional Colombian food like patacones, to learning to dance salsa. These experiences were not only fun but incredibly valuable in helping me apply what I had learned in class to everyday conversations. I was impressed with how much Colombian history and culture the school taught through activities and classes, this was my favorite part of what I learned. I know my level of Spanish improved significantly due to my time at the school, and I am more confident speaking naturally now. My time at this school was an amazing experience, I can't recommend it highly enough!!

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely the best Spanish school I’ve been to, and I have tried quite a few. The teachers are so knowledgeable and really care that you are learning so it makes for an encouraging and welcoming environment. They tailor groups well to your abilities and have a great mix of conversation, activities, and grammar. I never felt bored or out of my depth, just right at my threshold for learning. The weekly activities are also fantastic and well planned including weekly cooking classes and dancing classes on top of fun excursions like the paloquemao fruit market, salt cathedral, football game, or hot springs. The school organizes safe transportation and details of the activity for you which honestly is such a gift since sometimes navigating everything in a new location can be overwhelming. Also, im not sure how they do it but they must be doing something right because all the other students I studied with were amazing human beings and such respectful, fun, and enjoyable people to learn with! It must be the good vibes they put out because I’ve never been at another school with the quality and caliber of both students and staff. Thank you Nueva Lengua Bogotá!!

Experiencia fantástica: A wonderful place to learn Spanish! I did Nueva Lengua’s Spanish & Business course to help prepare for a new job—and I found it incredibly helpful. The school does a very good job of placing you in the appropriate class for your level of Spanish. And from there, the curriculum is well thought through and the teachers are very knowledgeable and engaging. They answer all the many questions—grammar or otherwise—from students and also find ways to engage you in local history / culture while you’re learning. On top of all this, they organize excellent cultural activities every afternoon. It’s a great way to meet other students and learn about local history / culture. I highly recommend Nueva Lengua!

Experiencia fantástica: Ho frequentato un corso di spagnolo intensivo in presenza alla scuola Nueva Lengua di Bogotá per 11 settimane, partendo completamente da zero. Grazie al supporto di meravigliosi insegnanti, ora riesco a comprendere e fare conversazioni con persone di madrelingua spagnola (ho raggiunto il livello B2)! L'esperienza è stata anche umanamente molto arricchente, a tal punto che al momento dei saluti non sono riuscita a trattenere le lacrime. Da settembre continuerò sicuramente a studiare spagnolo, frequentando classi private online, ovviamente con Nueva Lengua!

Optei pelo curso regular e acrescentei uma hora adicional de espanhol para negócios - o que foi uma ótima escolha. Durante essas aulas, a escola customizou as aulas para a minha necessidade, me oferecendo uma verdadeira imersão no ambiente de negócios da Colômbia. Os professores com certeza fizeram a diferença.

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastische school waar je niet alleen de Spaanse taal leert, maar ook door kook- en danslessen en verschillende andere activiteiten een inkijkje in de Colombiaanse cultuur krijgt! Ik heb tien weken les gevolgd bij Nueva Lengua in Bogotá, de eerste twee weken in groepsverband en daarna losse privélessen omdat mijn werkrooster geen vier uur per dag Spaans toeliet. Beide formats zijn mij goed bevallen, maar vooral de privélessen met docent Nicoll zijn heel nuttig geweest voor mijn Spaans. Nicoll bereidde de lessen goed voor, maar er was altijd ruimte voor vragen of als ik langer bij een onderwerp stil wilde staan. Doordat ik de lesstof mede mocht bepalen, voel ik me nu veel kundiger in het Spaans en heb ik eindelijk de subjunctief onder de knie! Ook buiten het klaslokaal heerste er altijd een goede sfeer op de school. Alle docenten én de staff zijn heel betrokken en binnen no-time kende iedereen mij naam! Hierdoor voelde ik me enorm welkom en ook onder de studenten hangt een gezellige, sociale sfeer omdat dit op een prettige manier wordt bevorderd vanuit de school. Het team van docenten en staff is jong en ook de gemiddelde leeftijd van studenten valt binnen 24 - 35 jaar, maar in mijn tien weken heb ik eigenlijk alle leeftijden langs zien komen! Iedere dag worden er activiteiten georganiseerd en kan je dus je Spaans uit de les direct toepassen en verbeteren. Ze gaan naar musea, naar de fruitmarkt of organiseren een fietstocht. Mijn twee favoriete activiteiten waren tejo spelen (+ bier drinken) o.l.v. docente Alejandra en de Chiva Rumbera! Bijna alle docenten gingen mee en zorgde voor een geweldig, Colombiaans feestje. Het was alsof ik met mijn vrienden uitging! Ook in het weekend worden er meerdaagse tripjes georganiseerd, vaak onderleiding van dansleraar Isaac die tevens professioneel gids is. Een geweldige persoonlijkheid met een gouden hart die van onze reis naar Ibagué een fantastisch weekend heeft gemaakt! Al met al een geweldige school die je tijd in Bogotá significant leuker maakt!

The teachers are kind, patient and very knowledgeable not only about the Spanish language, but also about the history and cultural details of Colombia. For the first week, my teacher for the main part of the morning was David and the for second week, it was Daniela. They were both fantastic and had a good way of keeping us engaged and keeping the class on track, despite the students trying to go off-topic! The cultural activities were amazing and well-organized. As a solo traveller, this is what I enjoyed the most, as we had the opportunity to explore places with classmates and teachers from the school. The free dance and cooking classes were thoroughly enjoyable. Isaac and Monica were fun and animated. They also spoke clearly so that everyone would understand, regardless of their level of Spanish. I highly recommend Nueva Lengua!

The Spanish teachers Nicoll, Milena and Alejandra were amazingly pedagogical, enthusiastic and helpful and I improved more than I could ever have imagined. In particular, my first teacher, Laura, was one of the most passionate and interesting teachers I’ve had. She not only taught the language but also the historic and cultural context behind it and I would have loved to have had her as a teacher for longer.

Experiencia fantástica: Fiz uma semana de aulas agora em julho, e recomendo essa escola, principalmente aos brasileiros. Fiz uma outra escola na Argentina, então tenho uma boa base de comparação. Além de achar a metodologia dessa escola muito boa, com enfoque em gramática, conversação e muita interação entre os alunos e professoras, fazer em Bogotá tem diversas vantagens em comparação com a Argentina. A proporção de brasileiros é menor, então vc acaba se comunicando muito mais em espanhol, melhorando a sua prática. E o espanhol colombiano é muito fácil de entender, em comparação com outros países sul americanos. O custo de vida em Colômbia é menor que o Brasil, tudo é mais barato, mas não chega a ser tão barato quanto a Argentina (câmbio blue). Além das aulas, tem atividades culturais todos os dias se você quiser participar. Jogo de tejo e visita à Catedral de Sal - imperdíveis! Tive aulas com as professoras Nicoll e Natália, excelentes!! Concluindo, podem ir que não tem erro.

Experiencia fantástica: 私は「スペイン語＋ダンス」の授業を1週間のみ受講しました。短期間でありながら、効率よく学ぶことができ、スペイン語に対する興味と意欲がより強くなりました。 スペイン語のDaniela先生とDavid先生は本当にフレンドリー且つプロフェッショナルです。授業内の生徒の理解度に応じて、補足や説明などが的確で、大変分かりやすかったです。英語での質問にも対応してくれましたので、初級の私には、分からないことが分からないままにならず、とても助かりました。Daniela先生からの宿題(ライティング等)も、得ることが多く感謝しています。 また授業後は、初日のウェルカムランチに始まり、ダンスやメルカドツアーなど、毎日のアクティビティがとても充実しています。異なる国籍や年齢の、他のクラスの方たちとも交流でき、良い時間を過ごせました。そして全体的に学ぶ意識の高い方たちばかりで、良い刺激になりました。 そしてアクティビティとは別に、私はダンスのクラス(プライベート週5時間)を受講したのですが、本当に楽しかったです。ダンスのステップのみでなく、体の部位をスペイン語で覚えることもできました。Isaac先生、毎回盛り上げてくれて、ありがとうございます。 先生方そしてオフィスの方々も、常に気にかけてくださり、何の不安もなく通学することができました。学校の施設もきれいです。(自由にコーヒーやお茶が頂けるのも有り難かったです) Nueva Lenguaを選んで良かったと、大変満足しています。

Experiencia fantástica: I participated in a 1 week intensive Spanish course at Nueva Lengua in Bogotá. All the teachers and staff were kind and professional from registration to goodbye. I learned a lot during my 4 hours each day with a good mix of grammar, conversation, and vocabulary building. The school building is a comfortable environment where everyone you encounter is encouraging you to use your new language skills and meeting you where you're at! The neighborhood is safe and walkable with an awesome little chocolate shop/cafe around the corner. I will continue lessons virtually this year and hope to return to Nueva Lengua soon. Experiencia fantástica: No total fiquei 4 semanas na escola, fazia apenas aulas normais. A escola possuía uns 30 alunos, de diversos países (poucos brasileiros por sinal, no máximo eu +1). Tinham a maioria das pessoas tinham entre 22 e 35 anos, mas também possuíam alguns com menos de 18 ou mais de 40. A escola fica bem perto da estação de Transmilenio Flores, recomendo se hospedar em algum lugar que esteja no mesmo corredor de Transmilenio que você chega na escola facilmente. Estava em Teusaquillo, levava cerca de 20 minutos de Transmilenio, funciona muito bem apesar do costume dos colombianos de exagerarem que o Transmilenio é péssimo. Poucas vezes peguei um ônibus lotado (e nenhuma vez foi indo/voltando da escola) e o único grande atraso foi por causa de uma manifestação. Entrei no início do B1 e sai no fim do B2, quase C1. Recomendo bastante para quem pretende estudar espanhol pela Colômbia. Tive aulas com muitos professores (Alejandra, Nicoll, Milena, Daniela, etc). Todas eram muito solícitas e buscavam sempre formas de ensinar mais sobre a cultura Colombia, nos levando comida por exemplo. Acaba que para quem já fala português você aprende muito mais rápido do que os alunos de outros idiomas, então acho válido considerar tomar aulas privadas caso queira avançar mais rápido. Honestamente acho legal ter aulas em grupos por permitir uma troca cultural muito interessante (tive 2 semanas de aula com +1 aluno, 1 semana com +2 e 1 semana com +5). As primeiras aulas da manhã são de gramática e a última hora é de aula de comunicação (com outro professor). Normalmente os professores mudam a cada 2 semanas. Para mim o maior problema do ensino na escola é por utilizarem muito o inglês como língua auxiliar. Entendo que no início é essencial, mas para os níveis mais altos (B1 adiante) acharia melhor se utilizassem apenas espanhol. Só que sinceramente isso é algo que não impacta muito. A escola também propõe muitas atividades, basicamente uma por dia. Desde passeios culturais, visitas a museus, viagens, etc. Participei de várias e foram muito divertidas, infelizmente muitas vezes poucos alunos participam, poderiam ser mais legais se contassem com um público maior. Em especial a Chiva Rumbera, almoço internacional (levei uma cachaça e paçoca) e a viagem para Guaduas foram muito divertidas. Isaac, o responsável pelas atividades, inclusive trabalha como guia turístico e auxilia bastante caso queira visitar outros lugares. Só acho que poderiam organizar mais eventos sociais em bares, principalmente na sexta (mas entendo que é possível que tenha pouca presença de alunos). Eles também oferecem a possibilidade de ficar um tempo nas outras escolas de Medellín e Cartagena (conheci várias pessoas que fizeram 1 semana em cada por exemplo). Pensei em fazer isso mas acabei optando por ficar apenas em Bogotá e não me arrependo. Minha experiência no geral foi muito boa, a maioria das pessoas de Bogotá ficavam por várias semanas, então você conseguia desenvolver um bom relacionamento com elas e criar um círculo de amizades. Correspondeu bem as minhas expectativas, todos da escola se esforçavam a saber o nome dos alunos, mesmo quem não era seu professor ou era do administrativo (salve para Luis e Juan que também sempre foram muito legais comigo). Se tivessem mais alunos e com uma maior presença nas atividades acredito que seria perfeito.

Experiencia fantástica: J'ai pris des cours d'espagnol à Nueva Lengua pendant une semaine. C'est une école très pro qui possède du matériel très utile pour améliorer l'espagnol. Les cours sont très stimulants et les professeurs sympathiques et compétents. Le point fort, c'est qu'il y a différents professeurs selon le sujet du cours. La professeure Alejandra était très dynamique, amusante et expliquait les sujets de manière simple et efficace. En fait, avec elle, la classe a progressé très rapidement tout au long de la semaine. En outre, l'école propose des activités en dehors de l'école afin de visiter des lieux importants de la ville, aider des personnes dans le besoin ou encore festoyer avec les autres étudiants ! Pour ma part, j'ai découvert la ville de Bogota avec des étudiants de l'école et j'ai vécu des expériences riches en émotions qui m'ont permis d'améliorer mon espagnol dans l'école et en dehors. Je recommande vivement Nueva Lengua ! !

Experiencia fantástica: J'ai adoré l'expérience à Nueva Lengua. Dès mon arrivé ils ont tout fait pour que je me sente comme faisant parti de la famille!! Ils ont été très flexible dans ma démarche d'apprentissage et se sont bien adaptés à mes besoins. J'y suis arrivé avec une base minimale de Duolingo, et après 12 semaines de cours je peux discuté avec les locaux!!! L'académie de Bogota est vraiment bien, un lieu propice à l'apprentissage avec des professeurs dévoués. Merci à vous tous de m'avoir aider à cheminer!

Experiencia fantástica: Ich habe 8 Wochen an der Sprachschule Nueva Lengua in Bogotá verbracht. Der Unterricht war sehr interessant und abwechslungsreich. Mir hat die Aufteilung zwischen Grammatik und Kommunikation gefallen. Ich habe viel gelernt und bin mit meinen Fortschritten sehr zufrieden. Die Lehrerinnen und Lehrer machen einen tollen Job. Der Unterricht ist spannend und durch den Einsatz verschiedener Medien wird es nie langweilig. Es gab zwischen 4 und 7 Teilnehmer pro Klasse. Das fand ich ideal. Der Kontakt mit anderen Menschen ist für mich wichtig, wenn ich eine Sprache lerne. Meine Mitschülerinnen und Mitschüler kamen aus der ganzen Welt und es war spannend von ihren Kulturen zu erfahren. Neben dem Unterricht bietet die Schule auch verschiedene Aktivitäten an. Wir besuchten gemeinsam Orte von kulturellem Interesse, wie Museen, den botanischen Garten, Monserrate, Fußballspiele der örtlichen Vereine Millonarios oder Santa Fe und vieles mehr. Einmal pro Woche findet ein Kochkurs statt, bei dem gemeinsam eine lokale Spezialität zubereitet wird, z. B. ein Dessert oder ein Snack mit einem Getränk. Nach dem Kochkurs findet der Tanzkurs statt. Unter hervorragender Leitung werden verschiedene Tanzstile wie Salsa, Merengue und Vallenato unterrichtet. Auch an den Wochenenden werden Aktivitäten angeboten, manchmal mit Übernachtungen in anderen Städten. Die Teilnahme am Koch- und Tanzkurs ist gratis. Für die anderen Aktivitäten fällt ein Aufpreis an, die Kosten halten sich allerdings im Rahmen. Ich kann die Nueva Lengua Spachschule jedem weiterempfehlen. Ich habe mit dem Kurs A2 begonnen und nach 8 Wochen ungefähr in der hälfte von B2 aufgehört. Jetzt brauche ich etwas Zeit, um das gelernte zu etablieren und anzuwenden. Alles in allem bin ich mit meinem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden. Muchas Gracias a las Profesoras. La pasé muy bien.

Experiencia fantástica: Nueva Lengua is such a special place! Studying there is one of my favorite things I've ever done. The teachers are very clear, and they're also really fun. They're very creative in their methods, and vary approaches constantly so it doesn't get boring. We play silly games, do ridiculous improv, and the students laugh constantly. I also found the other students, from every continent of the world to be interesting people, and they were game to the experience. There are optional outings almost every day, so if you're traveling alone, it's easy to make friends. I asked other students if they'd ever studied at a better place, and nobody said yes. Everyone said this is was the best of their learning experience. I was in Bogotá, but there are other branches. I am going to miss this experience sooo much.

I love how it felt like a community and everyone that works at the school was willing to help & practice with you. I felt safe & comfortable everyday in my class. The teachers all take the time to explain things thoroughly and are kind. In addition, it was really great that the school organized activities for after class. Experiencia fantástica: Spanisch in Kolumbien, ein Erlebnis! 2023 war ich mehrere Wochen in der Sprachschule „Nueva Lengua“ in Bogotá. Und ich kann nur sagen: es hat sich gelohnt! Die Sprachschule zeichnet sich durch einen strukturierten Unterricht aus. Das volle Grammatikspektrum wird bearbeitet, aber auch die Klassiker der Musik und Literatur, Reportagen und die Geschichte des Landes haben einen großen Stellenwert. Alle beschäftigten Lehrer sind sehr motiviert … man sieht ihnen an, dass sie Spanisch an den Mann (oder Frau) bringen wollen! Was die Sprachschule zusätzlich auszeichnet, ist das sehr abwechslungsreiche Kulturprogramm. Es werden nicht nur die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt besichtigt, es gibt auch Koch- und Tanzkurse; Sozialprojekte in Altenheimen und natürlich dürfen Tejo und die Chiva nicht fehlen. Wer also Spanisch, Konversation, Kultur und auch mal das wirkliche Leben in Kolumbien kennen lernen will … Nueva Lengua

The teachers were clear, positive, passionate and created an optimal environment for learning. Experiencia fantástica: I stayed at Nueva Lengua two weeks taking classes in level B1. The entire staff at the school is very friendly and helpful! During classes the teachers was well prepared and professional. This school also offers activities pretty much every day to let the students, from all over the world, get a feeling of the culture and nature of Colombia! Totally recommend this school, no matter level you are at: you will improve!

Experiencia fantástica: I have spent 3 weeks at Nueva Lengua. It was my second time taking Spanish classes at this school. I was not disappointed.  It was even better the second time. I have met several other returned students; this tells me Nueva Lengua must be doing something great for its students, whatever the reasons they want to learn Spanish. I want especially to thank my wonderful Spanish grammar and conversation teachers: Milena, Luis Miguel, Natalia, and Daniela. Lastly, thanks to Issac for his great dancing class. I learned both salsa and merengue. Super fun!

Ich konnte mein Spanisch wieder sehr gut auffrischen und hab mich wohl gefühlt. Zudem gibt es viele verschiedene Aktivitäten!

Experiencia fantástica: The teachers at Nueva Lengua were knowledgeable and professional, the classes engaging and constructive. My teacher, Julio Rodriguez, gave me additional information to help me with troublesome subjunctive, and I really appreciate the extra effort by him. My fellow classmates in the school were awesome! I like that Nueva Lengua has schools in other cities than Bogota for me to explore.

Experiencia fantástica: Oh my god, what an amazing experience it has been at Neuva Lengua!! I did 2 weeks of Spanish classes and I had such an amazing time there. From the moment you walk in you feel so welcome in this loving family of staff and teachers! My teachers were Camila and Laura and they are both not only great teachers but amazing people! They are passionate about what they do and have a lot of patience explaining you Spanish words/grammar and learning you things about Bogotá and Colombia! You will not feel alone in the city at all because the school organises activities in the afternoon that you can participate in! A lot of fun, interesting and cultural things together with students and one of the teachers from the school. That is how I got to know Daniela, Nicoll and Isaac, such sweethearts! You will really have a good time with them! During the activities you will learn more Spanish but you will also laugh a lot, like during a game of Tejo (must do!!). Another must do is taking extra dance lessons from Isaac, the dance teacher of the school. They give you a free hour dance class every week but you can book extra lessons with Isaac as well. I learned so much about salsa, bachata and Spanish music! I really fell in love with Colombian Salsa through his dance lessons! A big shout out to all the teachers and staff, you made me feel so welcome when I just arrived in South America! A great start of my travels! I cannot recommend this school enough! Experiencia fantástica: I feel very grateful for my time at Nueva Lengua, which made a profound difference in my time visiting Bogotá. I took three weeks of group lessons (level C1) and two weeks of private lessons with their fantastic teachers including Kevin (now in Cartagena), Daniela, Nicoll, and Milena. Plus I took advantage of their amazing after-school activities including dance classes, volunteering, and hikes with the outstanding Isaac. Beyond learning Spanish with customized lessons each day, I was most impressed by this school’s focus on building community and cultural education. By the end of my time, I was genuinely sad to leave but feel happy knowing our friendships will last beyond my time in Colombia. I feel encouraged to continue my Spanish studies and would 100% return to Nueva Lengua should I have that chance again. Thank you to Juan and all of the support staff who coordinated my time there. Ya los extraño mucho!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great month at Nueva Lengua-Bogotá. My teachers were very patient with students and are very knowledgeable. There are various activities to participate in every week, each serving to make an important and enriching experience. They are quick to make sure students' needs are met and provided me with an awesome host family.

Experiencia fantástica: Although I only took one week of classes, my level of Spanish has improved dramatically because of my time in Nueva Lengua Bogotá. My teachers Daniela and Alejandra were both extremely knowledgeable, approachable and found ways to keep their classes fun (even when we were trying to wrap our heads around the differences between por and para!). The afternoon activities - dance and cookery classes, as well as trips to the botanical gardens and the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá - were very enjoyable and allowed me to further immerse myself into Colombian culture. These activities also helped me to get to know the other students better while practising my Spanish in a different environment. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone looking to improve their Spanish, regardless of their level. ¡Gracias a todos!

Experiencia fantástica: I spent 12 weeks with Nueva Lengua inluding 4 weeks in the school of Bogotá. My experience is only positive, I improved my Spanish skills a lot, I also had private clases of dance, which taught me enough to be confident to ask a colombian girl to dance salsa or bachata in a party (muchas gracias Isaac). I really enjoyed also various social activities organised by the school, there is something interesting to do every day including weekends. Once I we went together to Ibagué for the whole weekend and it was amazing (muchas gracias de nuevo Isaac). Muchas gracias a todos los empleados de Nueva Lengua Bogotá, me hacían sentir como en casa ❤️

Experiencia fantástica: I started my Spanish lessons here in Bogotá. I was a total beginner, but that was no problem at all. Milena was my teacher and she was very nice and patient. There was a great ambiance during the classes and I learned a lot! Would defenitely recommend the school and especially the classes from Milena!
